Changes to my career

I think one of the bad problems of the faculty is the bad infrastructure, because we always have problems whit the bad noises of the people working outside of the classroom and that it´s so irritating for the teacher and for the students.

We don´t have determinate places for working in big projects or for use some tools, because the faculty it´s so small and this don´t have big space for make new workshops classroom or other places for the comfort of the students.

About the curriculum of the class, we were really need in the first year, the class where they teach us about how to use the programs, like Photoshop or AutoCAD, and that´s it´s so important in the career because we make all the projects in this programs (and more) and we were to learn alone how to use that, so I think it´s important to put a new obligatory class for learn more about that. For this we need more computers and technology, when we need to use the laser cutter, is so complicated catch a one hour for use this. Because we only have tree machines, but we only have one in function, and in this time of the year all of the students have projects and we always need to cut different materials, but the machine it´s not available for all of us.

The teaching methods are ok for now; we have good teachers in the cathedra’s class, but sometimes they need more support in the infrastructure and in the use of the technology, because for now we don´t have the direct contact whit some real materials for problems of spaces. About the academic workload, it´s so hard, we don´t have time for all the work, and make big projects and study at the same time it´s so difficult, because we only concentrating in make all the works but not always in make this in the correct form, but I think that it´s part of be an architect student.
